Basic – Class 5 GDL Package
This is a standard, government-approved program to prepare for your Class 5 road test. Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a certificate that is recognized by insurance companies for discounts. This program is suitable for anyone who has a Class 7 Learner’s Permit and is a relatively inexperienced driver.
Includes:
15 hours of classroom/theory lessons
10 hours of in-vehicle training on the road
Free pick-up and drop-off anywhere in the city during your road lessons
Basic Plus –
Class 5 GDL Package
For students who feel like they will need more time to hone their skills and need more in car practice before taking their road test. Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a certificate that is recognized by insurance companies for discounts.
Includes:
15 hours of classroom/theory lessons
12 hours of in-vehicle training on the road
Free pick-up and drop-off anywhere in the city during your road lessons
Advanced –
Class 5 Non-GDL Package
This driving education program may help reduce your insurance costs if you have a Class 5 operating license. Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a certificate that is recognized by insurance companies for discounts. Make sure you talk to your insurance company for further specific information, and to double-check your eligibility for discounts.
Includes:
15 hours of classroom/theory lessons
6 hours of in-vehicle training on the road
Free pick-up and drop-off anywhere in the city during your road lessons
Brush-up Lessons – Hourly Rate
These are customizable 1-2 hours sessions for road test preparation. You will be behind the wheel and on the road, and the driving education you will receive will be tailored to your individual learning needs.
Includes:
1-2 hours of one-on-one education
Free pick-up and drop-off anywhere in the city during your road lessons
Understanding of and support for your particular learning needs
Professional assessment and advice on your readiness for the road test
Additional Information
Car Rental for a road test may be available at select locations for a fee of $50 per test, regardless of whether it is for Class 5 GDL or Class 5 Advanced.
Car rental for road tests will only be available to students of Bruno Driving Academy Inc. Outside inquirers will need to purchase a minimum two hours of brush-up lessons ($126.00) to become eligible and must use them before the day of their road test.
“Advanced – Class 5 Non-GDL Package” is only available to students who have already obtained Class 5 Non-GDL license and is offered in Edmonton only. Students outside of Edmonton may take this course as they can already drive on their own and attend it from Edmonton.
